I’m having a VERY small intimate wedding. Only close friends and family. I’m not even inviting second cousins or acquaintances. We have a small budget so I told my fiancé his friend “best man” can’t bring his gf. We’ve never met her and they are newly dating. I don’t wanna walk down the isle and see strangers. I want to see faces of people we know who are genuinely happy to celebrate the day with us. Not just there for the party. Plus the way I’m having the seating is my maid of honor will be sitting next to me and the best man will be sitting next to my husband. So she would be sitting alone anyways. Is it rude to not let her come? Or should he be understanding of the bride’s wishes?
