Friends with guys while in a relationship?

So my boyfriend thinks that me having friends who are men while dating him is bad... apparently if him and I get into an argument and I’m talking to a guy friend, that’s not okay.... but talking to girl friends is  100% okay.

I would ask myself what’s he doing with his girl friends that’s making him not want me to have guy friends?

For people who are capable of making and respecting boundaries, having friends of the gender to which they are attracted is not a problem AT ALL.

When me and my husband got together we were not young kids who came with friends some we grew up with some we had known for a long time neither one of us have put restrictions and who each other talks to in fact if my husband comes into a room and I'm on the phone he'll be like hey who you talkin to I'll tell him and then like say hi for me and that's the end of the conversation

You should ask him while he feels this way. Insecurities always come from something, ask him whats up. He may have a genuine reason.
