Girl names, and is a middle name necessary?
Hello everyone
So, I just found out I'm expecting a baby girl as my first child. I don't know why, but we all assumed it was going to be a boy for sure and picked out so many boy names and only a few girl names.
I'm just looking for a unique biblical hebrew or greek name that can be easily pronounced in our native language with a nice meaning. My husband and I only have agreed on 2 names so far: Elena and Myra. He likes Elena more than Myra and I like Myra more than Elena. In our language Elena is pronounced eh-leh-na and Myra is Me-rah. But since we live in a Western country I don't think these names will get butchered badly when pronouncing them but I know Myra will be pronounced differently.
Also, both of us don't have a middle name, and I don't even know if it's necessary to have one. Is it weird in a Western country not to give your child a middle name or should I just find a middle name too? If we were to chose a middle name all I have is demiana or demiyana. Don't know which way to spell it though.
Thanks
