How did you discover you were pregnant with twins?

If you found out by US, did the Doppler show only one heartbeat and miss the other?

You can only really tell by ultrasound. Doppler isn’t reliable - even medical professionals can have trouble finding heartbeats, especially with twins.

I’m eight weeks. We did an ultrasound for dating to see that there are two.

I was only 7 weeks we did ultrasound for dating and turns out there was two

They gave me a vaginal ultrasound and showed 2sacs and then 2 weeks later was babies and heartbeats via vaginal ultrasound so they were able to pick up 2 heartbeats

Vaginal ultrasound at 8 weeks. Any ultrasounds before then and the twin was missed.
