Back in December I took 3 test that all came back positive 🥳

I had my first ultrasound appointment on January the 16th (7 weeks 5days) which I also took a test for the office that showed a positive result. The ultrasound also showed a tiny little bean that had a heartbeat of 140 ❤️

And after that appointment I was instructed to schedule an appointment with my regular doctor. I looked for two weeks for a doctor that I wanted and thought I finally found one only for them to be so rude and non-compassionate. They scheduled me for my first visit/ultrasound today January 29th @ 11:30am. When I got there they gave me my paperwork and told me to go to the bathroom to make sure my bladder was empty. 😳 I was called back before I was able finished my paperwork and for about a whole 2 minutes of her on my stomach taking a total of 5 pictures she decided that I was to early into my pregnancy and she needed to do a vaginal ultrasound (which I was okay with since I’ve had them previously with my other children). She left the room for me to get undressed and when she returned she acted as if she was new to this. She turned on the lights and said “oh my bad they’re supposed to be off” then when she turned around and ran into a chair which about made her fall over. When she finally got it together and started the ultrasound again for a total of 3 maybe 4 pictures stopped and said there’s no heartbeat that I would need to come back at 1pm to see the doctor. 😡 basically told me I could either sit in the waiting room or go have lunch. 🤬

I contacted my boyfriend (who was able to take a lunch break) and talked with him about the whole situation. He had to calm me down.

When I returned at 1pm the doctor basically said the same stuff. Told me that I miscarried at 7 weeks which makes no since considering 2 doctors and I all heard and recorded the heartbeat at almost 8 weeks. She stated that it’s what they call a missed miscarriage and that I have 3 options. One: I can take a pill to put me into the miscarriage process faster. Two: they can schedule me for a D & C or three: I could wait 2 weeks and see what happens.

Never having been through a miscarriage but being a mother of 5 already I stated “I’ll wait” they then sent me out the door with only an appointment in 2 weeks 😡 no help in dealing with this or any numbers to call.

My question is can this be a mistake? Can they be wrong? And should I get a second opinion?1
