Slave to Technology

So tonight I’m doing the bedtime routine when I realize that it is way too quiet in my daughters room.... her white noise machine isn’t on. I try pushing the button and connecting via my phone but nothing! I’m having a huge panic attack thinking this kid will never be able to make it thru the night with out it, it’s too noisy where we live. Then I realize the hatch was unplugged in the back. Crisis averted.

Come downstairs, turn on the monitor....dead. No problem I remembered the charger so I don’t have to go upstairs but it’s not turning on. Try trouble shooting, nothing. Finally take out and replace the battery and it’s works!

I guess I’m just a little worried that one or both of my very important sleep pieces might die on me when I need them the most.

Should I Always have a backup just in case?
