What happened to the idea of male beauty?

I just saw some list of 10 most handsome male singers and I couldn't believe my eyes. It was pretty much one guy in three or four color versions - and only the skin color changed. Not even the facial hair was different :-D

And quite frankly, when you see a list of most handsome men in the last decades or so, they tend to look a lot alike.

It's like we're trying to promote the idea that women come in all shapes and colors and in the meantime the idea of a beautiful man gets narrowed.

Who do you consider a handsome man? (Please, only public figures, I'm sure there's someone in your life who would top every list)
