My 19-month-old used to say “more” when she wanted food. She would even repeat herself as necessary.

But lately she’s taken to laying at the foot of the bed and just screaming instead. I know she can ask for food in better way so I don’t want to just give in when she’s doing this but it’s very hard to get her to stop screaming and say “more.” She just wants to wail instead.

Any tips to get her to return to her old habit instead of just screaming at the top of her lungs?
