We are thinking to start trying for our second baby when our first is a year old (my doctor approved me trying to get pregnant again at 12 months post birth), but I’m a little scared at the thought of having two under two and in diapers!

Our reason for wanting them so close in age is so that hopefully they will be close friends growing up and it will make school drop off easier when they’re in school eventually. Also, the age gap between me and my sibilngs was four years between each of us and I always hated that growing up bc we never went to the same schools and I was always jealous of siblings that got to go to school together. My husband is an only child and wants our baby to have a sibling ASAP bc of it too.

Just curious what other parents opinions/experience are on age gaps between their children. Thanks! ☺️

Edit: I know it’s when we are ready for our next baby, but I’m looking for others to share experiences on how their children’s age gaps are 😉
