Need help

So I'm new to menstrual cups and I don't even have a name brand one because I'm legit broke all the time. The one I has is small ig. Has good reviews on the Walmart website, but I can't seem to get the hang of it? I tried putting it in last night since that's when af came, but I ended up scratching myself a ton down there so now that hurts and I couldn't get it comfortable and I ended up taking it out and trying again four times before just putting on a pad and going to bed. Fast forward to this morning, I try again. I'm still all cut up and so I'm still in pain but I'm trying different folds and different positions. I ended up doing the origami fold while laying down, knees apart and legs up and it's in it I can almost not feel it but I still feel it? And I felt around and didn't feel any folds or anything in it but I leaked like crazy a couple hours later. And it gives me like a cramp like pain in my stomach, like bloated but not. I took it out and put in a tampon because I just couldn't take it.

So

What's a cheap brand, that's small but mighty in a sense? The one I had felt too big. I could probably spend $10 at most cause I'm actually broke rn.
