TTC After depo shot???

Question

What are your stories on trying to conceive after stopping the depo shot? How long did it take you to get pregnant? 
I stop using the shot 3 months ago and got my period twice this month :(

My hubby and I have been TTC since May of last year...had my last depo shot in Feb of last year. Just got my first tentative positive pregnancy test 2 hours ago. I’m over the moon, but it has been an emotional roller coaster ride since I didn’t realize the shot stays in your system so long. We were hoping to get pregnant last June. Hopefully you have better luck than me, but my best advice is to stay positive and try not to be hyper focused on it. 🤗

I was on the depo for about 18 months, my shot was due March 2018, I got my first period September 2018 (I never spotted in between the six months), have had a cycle every month ranging from 22-32 days each time, since I am ttc I have been tracking ovulation with OPK’s and finally got my first ever positive OPK 6 days ago so really hoping this is our month

I was on depo for 5 years. When I came off of it I had a period every other week. 14 day cycles. For about 4 months. Currently after that I am in this long 60+ cycle. BUT my advice to you is to buy ovulation tests and test for ovulation. Then start paying attention to your cervical mucus. Even though my periods are wonky I am still ovulating!

I came off the depo nearly a year ago I bled on and off untill jan this year then took provera for 5 days and never bled again I’m trying to conceive xxx

This is tmi but the depo dried me up :,( so i hardly get any cm. It’s been a little better after I got off the shot. I just hope my body goes back to normal.
