I am 17 weeks this week how can I be in forth month??? I conceived in October ... that makes it 3 months ???? Confused

They start counting the day you started your last period.

Save this on your phone it’ll help! You’re 17 weeks. 17 weeks ago would’ve been when the first day of your last period should have been had you periods been regular. Really, women are pregnant 10 months because doctors count from last period.

There's typically 4 weeks in a month. 16 weeks rolls you over to 4 months..

November 11 (completed first month)
December 11 (completed 2 month)
January 11 (completed 3rd month and started fourth)
 Fourth month and start of fifth will be Feb. 
You shouldn’t be counting October as a month if that’s what’s confusing you.

9 weeks is the start of month 3. If you’re 17 weeks you are in the last week of 4 months. I’m 18 weeks and in the first week of 5 months :)
