Any mommas ever been diagnosed with superimposed preeclampsia? I was diagnosed with preeclampsia with my first around 30 weeks and ended up having a csection at 36 weeks because of my blood pressure but this time around things have been a little different. Im currently 35w5d and I've been having problems with my blood pressure since around 15 weeks, they had me do several 24 hour urines and all have come back good so they diagnosed me with just hypertension. Today at my doc appointment my BP was 150/110 so they sent me to L&D and admitted me for monitoring and yet again another 24 hour urine. I was put on bp medicine last week and even though I've been forgetting to take it here and there my blood pressures had been decent lately but all of the sudden shot up today so she thinks I may have superimposed preeclampsia. What exactly is superimposed pree and what does it mean for me and baby if I do have it? I know that I'll know tomorrow but I'm already super stressed from things going on at home and just want to learn more about it so my mind doesn't wander and stress me out even more.
