So I'm home because wisconsin is closed at the moment (-30 degrees out). We fed the puppy at 7:30.

As I'm sitting in the living room I hear my puppy choking in her crate. She puked up a bit of bile around 3:30. Then at about 4:15 she puked up the below thing.

It looks not at all like any food or treats we give her and I checked all her toys and blankets and such and nothing is ripped apart. I Googled and perhaps it's a gallstones?

It's the size of a fingernail and shaped like a pyramid. It also seems fleshy, kinda like the texture of a walnut. I picked it up with a toothpick so it's not 100% solid like a rock.

I called the vet and the chick who answered the phone walked through everything I had already done and when I mentioned gallstones she dismissed it and said puppy is too young.

Am i insane for thinking it's a gallstones? A brief Google of dog gallstones showed a cartoon image that looks similar to what she threw up...
