Do you like being a single parent?

I've been a single parent almost 5 months now and I hate it. I know there are women out there who do not mind being a single mom for the ones that enjoy it please give me your reasoning im miserable.

My “sperm donor” didn’t want anything to do with either of us when I decided to keep my son, and TBH I’m digging it. No one is there to question anything, it’s all on me. I know it’s all on me and therefore I don’t expect any help, which in a way makes it easier. 
That being said I’ve been ‘blessed’ with an easy baby, I’m not sure how it would have been if he was colicky or just super fussy in general.

I did because I knew the bond I was forming with my daughter would be an incredible one. That got me through the hardest times. I knew I was shaping her to be an amazing person and her father unfortunately decided not to be apart of it. Years later the right man came into the picture and I can tell you my daughter and I have a bond like you wouldnt believe. She is open with me about everything and really is an all around amazing little girl

I love it don’t get me wrong it’s definitely hard sometimes figuring out how to do everything on your own and not having any day to day help but me and my son are so extremely close and the bond we have is just unreal as I’m sure it is for any mother with their child but it being just us I feel he gives me the double love lol ya know I don’t know but it’s amazing and although it wasn’t how I expected it to go I wouldn’t change a thing or have it any other way I love it just the two of us and it’s nice honestly to just raise him and make all the big choices myself and not having to argue or disagree with anyone honestly I don’t know how to explain it all but for me there’s nothing better than being a single mom to me my son is far far more important to me than any relationship with any guy and gives me more than any guy ever could the boy just literally has my whole heart and my world revolves completely around my son and I love it I truly don’t feel like I’m missing anything but also to me being in a relationship isn’t extremely important to me so maybe that makes it easier I know a lot of people where that’s all they care about

Not a fan of it myself. I doubt it is ever “in the plans,” but the ONLY reason my husband isn’t with me is because death took him too soon. Been a single mom and widow for 2 months and it sucks.

Its hard a lot of the time but there's not really much you can do once you are one other than trying to slowly date again. (I was one 5 years)
