Tully movie? More terrifying than Saw imo

I won’t spoil it, but I watched this on HBO this morning.  Mother of 2 births her 3rd baby, gets a “night nanny” to help out.  Lots of weirdness ensues, some plot twists.
But basically scared the shit out of me for labor and beyond 😫

It's a real eye opener when it comes to being a mother, who is exhausted and trying her hardest to be the best mother and wife she can be.

It is unsettling but I think it reminds us the importance of reaching out to friends and family for support.

I wanted to see it when it first came out but now that I’m pregnant, I refuse to.  Doesn’t seem like it’s going to be encouraging or helpful at this point in the pregnancy.

I felt like the movie was more about post birth. A lot of mothers experience PTSD after labor and I felt that was what the movie was portraying. The night nanny was there to help her with her stress. Keeping a good mental health after going through labor is such an important thing for the mother and baby.
