Has anyone ever heard of the umbilical cord being attached to the cervix?

I went for my gender appointment and was told that they’re pretty sure that the cord was attached there and had a very lengthy appointment because she had troubles finding the cord at first only to find this?

I’m being referred to a high risk specialist and have been warned against having someone break my water for me when it comes time to give birth or will be doing a c section.

I tried to google this just to get a little more information on it and I’m not getting really anything at all??
