Friendships changing already??

Question

So I'm a FTM and I can already see some of my friendships starting to change with people. 
Is anyone else experiencing this or has experienced this in the past if your already a mom?

I have a few friends that live to party.  They actually announced they’re moving across the country a few weeks after we announced we’re expecting lol.  One of the other couples in our group had a kid 2 years ago.  
I know we’re not the reason they’re moving, but I bet it changed their pros and cons list a bit in favor of going.
We were watching some movie w crazy kids and the girl made it a point to say how awful it looked and how our lives are ending.  She knows we’ve been trying for 2 years and lost 2 pregnancies before this one so I was kind of like wtf is wrong w this girl??  All in all I’m not that upset about them leaving after all 🙄

Yes. Some people pull away once your lifestyle surpasses theirs. Some for good reasons like leaving your single, club going friends once married. Some for bad like they aren't ready/mature enough to handle you moving to the next level. If theyare important to you just express to them you feel they're pulling away. I'm married, graduating college this May, Having my second baby this May and I have 1 friend left.

Yes! I am the first of my friend group to get married, and now we are expecting our first. 
I had such a hard time at first, but I had to realize that we aren’t always going to be at the same places in our lives.

I’ve had the opposite reaction. I’m the last of my old group of friends to get pregnant, and I was always the one that they joked wasn’t the “mothering” type. When they all started having kids I was one of the first people that got cut out, which was strange since I didn’t drink or party, I rarely went out to do crazy things, and was basically an old homebody by the age of 19. I haven’t held a real conversation with some of these people in over a decade because every time I tried to talk to them or hang out, they would find excuses or cancel at last minute even if I had said I was totally cool with a lazy dinner at their place with the kids and any mess. 
Suddenly I’m pregnant and they can’t stop messaging me, asking when I’ll be in town to hang out. I’m trying to be appreciative and polite about it, but it’s annoying as hell that they couldn’t be bothered to be my friend for the past 10 years, yet as soon as I’m popping a kid out I’ve passed the apparent adult friendship requirement. 😒

I find that if anything, having our son has made me much closer to my friends. I’m the first in the group to have a kid and I spent a lot of my maternity leave with them. It’s made me appreciate my friends so much more and I love seeing their relationship with my son grow. I have also taken to hosting people more at my place in order to have my son be around them more.

I don’t think many (if any) of our friends stopped hanging out with us because we started to have kids, but having kids definitely made it more difficult to hang out. With bedtimes and nap times and all the other stuff that goes along with having kids it’s harder to be spontaneous, and the types of activities we do has definitely changed for us but hasn’t had to change for our friends without kids.

I’m married for 2 years and have a 1.5 year old and pregnant again. My best friend can’t keep a guy for longer than a month. I don’t see her as much as I’d like to but we make it work. She lives 2 hours away and visits often and I try to visit when I can. I never really had other friends that I actually cared about keeping around. I just think that you have to put in some work but it’s possible to stay the same as you were before.

Yes, I feel like the second people found out I was pregnant they didn’t want to hang out anymore. We are the first of our group to have kids and now it’s like they think we will be less fun or something. I’m not sure...
