Super dry newborn skin??

Question

My pediatrician mentioned that we could apply a natural, fragrance free lotion to her skin but what about her face?? She has some dry patches on her face also but I’m not sure if I should use the same lotion or if there is a better option?

I use aquaphor all over my baby skin and a tiny bit on her face.

My daughter is almost 3 weeks old and I still have not used any lotion on her. Around 1 week her arms and ankles were really flakey and dry and I was scared that left untreated they might turn into cracks and bleed. I used A&D ointment 2-3 times and it healed it right up!

My pediatrician has us doing lubriderm all over his body and it’s helped so much.

We’ve been using Aquaphor baby also. I got the okay to use coconut oil from his pediatrician as well.
