Coconut oil for yeast infection??...

So I've heard many women say they use coconut oil for their yeast infections?? And im just curious if it works & how they use it down there??

I wouldn't trust home remedies. I pick up monistat. Its like $7 and for sure wont hurt ya. (Unless you end up allergic to it/its ingredients)

I’ve used coconut oil to treat yeast infections and prevent an oncoming one. It worked each time. I soaked a tampon in the oil and inserted it, then also used a panty liner with oil at the same time. I did it for about a week, changing once or twice a day. The infection cleared up in a week and never returned. Coconut oil is antibacterial and good for balancing ph, which is why it’s able to be inserted vaginally. However, everyone is different. What worked for me may not work for you, so the only way to know is to try. If you don’t want to risk it, just buy the one day monistat.

Do not!!!
If you wanna do a home remedy, take a apple cider vinager bath.. Just put like 2 to 2 and a half cups of vinigar in and soak for awhile. It GREATLY reduces symptoms like itching and burning but doesn't totally get rid of the Infection.
So to help with symptoms I'd take the vinigar bath and to get rid of it, take a diflucan (antifungal med)
PS. I have chronic yeast infections so I've tried these both and they work like a charm.
