THC detox at 37 weeks?

Anyone here smoke weed while pregnant ? Could you clean your system in 2 -3 weeks from THC ? From Ohio here, they only test babies f you test positive I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT this is not my first child 🤦‍♀️ my doctor has told me babies are ONLY tested if mother tests positive. Not sure if anything will happen. Having the baby in 21 days and I quit smoking today. Wondering if anyone else has gotten clean in 3 weeks time while pregnant or if there’s safe detoxes.  
P.s. no negative comments please. What’s done is done. Weed doesn’t hurt babies and there’s zero studies to suggest they do. Just looking for positive stories and what you did you get clean late in pregnancy before delivery. Thanks (:

When we drug test, most of the time it is positive for 6 weeks....

You’re going to test positive and so will your baby. 
Also, you should research more. My midwife told me about all the new studies coming out in regards to smoking weed while pregnant and it really can cause a lot of issues. 
I understand what’s done is done, just hoping to provide some insight so you are aware of the consequences. 🥰

From what I read about this, and it may not be true, was that typical people detox by drinking lots of water to clear yourself. So since you’re at the point of drinking lots of fluids and urinating a lot (EVERY HOUR 🙄) you should be able to become clean much more quickly. I’ve read that possibly as quickly as a week 🤷🏼‍♀️. Like I said, the research I’ve done may not be true on this. I do however think it best and agree with your decision to quit 3 weeks prior. At this point you don’t know when it “go time”. Better safe than sorry!

I’m not sure but I read they test baby’s first poo. Don’t think you can clean that.

They are only going to test you and/or the baby if you’ve told any of your doctors during your pregnancy that you have ever smoked weed. During your pregnancy or even years before. They will also test you at birth if you are showing signs of being under the influence. Best of luck babe!!

I used to smoke before I got pregnant, and it all depends on your body.. I remeber I smoked alot of weed one night and the next day I got told I had to get a drug test 3 days later. I drank alot of water LIKE ALOOOOT my pee was so clear and tested negative.

More than likely you will still test positive. THC is very slow to metabolize in the body. I’ve heard of a lot of tricks to try and “flush” the body out for drug testing purposes but I don’t think they’ve been necessarily proven to work as they’re more urban legend type things.
