Valentine's Day, love it or meh?

My friend LOVES it! She loves the date, the pink, the presents and the candy! Nothing wrong with those things, I love them too. I've never really cared about the holiday, or felt I needed it to have all those things. Just curious how many of us actually give a hoot!

I love Valentine’s Day! My husband and I have dinner reservations and I bought a new evening gown. I bought him a new golf driver, a Versace watch, workout clothes and some accessories. He buys me jewelry from Tiffany&Co. 
We go out to dinner and to the movies then home for hours of sex. ❤️❤️

This is my first Valentine’s Day in a relationship. My first valentines with a guy (last year), I got cute because I was excited but he took me to Chick Fil-A, didn’t even order me anything, ate like a pig in front of me and we went straight to his house the rest of the day 😒.. so this time around? I mean, I dunno what to expect but my expectations are only low so I’m not too overly disappointed in the sense of just not knowing if or what he’d do 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don't care about valentines day. To my bf, he says that you shouldnt need a commercial holiday to tell/show the person you love that their loved. I more or less agree. I think we do a lot throughout the year for each other and that's enough for me and him. We plan things to do or go out for a nice meal for the hell of it rather than those actions being dictated by a holiday. To me that's more genuine than doing something because a holiday told you to. That being said, I love that my mom gives me valentines gifts. It makes her really happy to do that and her happiness matters a lot to me and I love seeing her happy.

It's not my favorite but I do love seeing the decorations in the stores and such, it gives me a happy feeling even if I'm not getting anything 😂 I also love seeing couples give eachother things at school I think it's cute
