Why does it make me itchy?

Why does vagisil or summers eve make me so itchy down there? I thought it was for cleaning it but it makes me itch instead.

I think if you use vagisil with out an infection it causes an imbalance.

I used to use dove soap and then I heard people  speak great things about vagisil  so I used it for about 2 years with no problem then all of a sudden  it started to make me smell off. And then i started getting itchy too. I just went back to regular old dove bar soap and now I'm back to normal. Also apple cider vinegar baths work wonders for restoring ph naturally. I found that's why I was itching and smelling was because my ph was off.

Yea I tried that stuff and I ended up with a yeast infection (I used it externally as directed) 🙄 I’m just sticking to warm water

I’ve used vagisil for a couple of years now and haven’t had a problem. You may just be sensitive. Try using just warm water for a couple of days and see how you feel. If the itching doesn’t go away with just water then you might have a yeast infection.

I had a severe allergic reaction to vagisil ointment!!! Be careful. I couldn’t do anything for a week!
