Anyone with an IUD???!!! Or has had an IUD before?

Question

Were you able to feel the strings as soon as you placed your finger inside to check? 
I feel like my strings were left too long. I can feel them with just the tip of my finger. After peeing I can feel them as well😣 Oh, I can so feel the IUD itself.  
I feel so uncomfortable. I’m considering going to the doctor to get it removed.

The strings can be clipped shorter but you shouldn’t be able to feel the actual IUD- it’s placed in your uterus, past your Cervix. Either way I’d call the Dr and have them check with ultrasound and clip the strings shorter. I have had four IUD’s now and I got my IUD almost two weeks ago, I’ll be having a routine ultrasound to make sure it’s still in the correct position/hasn’t migrated. I have never had any issues with my IUD’s personally.

I think you should go see your doctor. I am in my second iud and the only way I can feel the strings is if I really really search for it. You shouldn’t be able to feel the device itself
