After my baby daddy being in and out for the first two years of my sons life (he wasn’t even there at all the second year, no phone calls or anything he was too busy having another kid and taking care of it)

We reconnected last March and got past our AWFUL past with each other and decided to do what was best for our son, at first there were supervised visits and then in August I had started just letting him pick him up on his own and taking him to his house.

Okay well I have been more than nice and patient with him, it’s been months and he still hasn’t started financially supporting him. He just got his job this month and kept telling me about all the money he was going to be giving me and I haven’t seen a cent. He has to pay his Dads ex $300 this Saturday for a PHONE so he can keep it since he was on her plan and is no longer.

Then he was complaining about how he has to pay $1000 for his other sons daycare (which he also is always doing for, and financially caring for)

And then tells me I won’t be getting any money soon.

Then when I tell him I was thinking about getting a job he told me I didn’t need to until I got a car, how am I supposed to get a car without a job? As of now my mom is the one helping me financially with my son but I do everything else. She doesn’t mind and actually prefers me to wait on getting a job because I’m currently in GED classes to get my diploma so I can go on to college, which I barely have a ride there for.

Then he proceeded to tell me I needed to get my ducks in a row (like he doesn’t? He’s 20 years old and already has debt collectors after him because he owes people money and stuff)

I agree I need to get it together, but I’m trying and he’s the last person on earth that needs to tell me that.

The only reason he got that job is because he has a friend that works there, they let him on without having a diploma (which you’re supposed to have to work there)

The only reason he got that car is because his dad gave it to him.

Maybe if he’d help me out and give me daycare money too for our son I’d be able to actually go get myself a job, but I don’t have help like that.

He also told me he was the “better parent” now because he helps financially... But where??

Anyways the issue is he isn’t on the birth certificate because he wasn’t around during the pregnancy and when he was he was abusing me. I really don’t want to put him on child support because I’d have to put him on the birth certificate and he does things out of spite to hurt me so I KNOW he’ll try to fight me in court if I do something.
