Do people really sometimes get not even a faint line until 14 dpo or later?

I’m 13 or possibly 12 dpo today, AF due today and no sign of her. Stark white BFN on FRER yesterday and same on Internet cheapie today. Have any of you had absolutely nothing on tests at this point and still turned out to get a BFP, or should I stop wasting tests for the month?
