Anyone experienced dating a BPD person?

Every couple months my boyfriend cycles in our relationship where I’m good and he’s glad to have me then one small flaw he picks up, he breaks up with me and I’m not “ good enough” for him.

Every year, around this time .. I go out of town to see family out of state back home and he picks out flaws in me and finds reasons to break up with me and justifies to himself why I’m not good enough for him. But then a few days later tells me to just stay and that he doesn’t want to break up anymore
