I heard of the NIPT blood test, it’s a non invasive test that checks for Down syndrome, other genetic disorders and also you can find out the gender. Because I’m under 35 and not high risk my insurance most likely won’t cover it. My doctor still gave me a script to be able to do the bloodwork if I want to but has anyone had this test done so far? Did insurance pay or did you pay out of pocket?
