So I see all these people talking about how good it feels to "play with the pearl" but my clitoral pearl or whatever is really sensitive like it hurts to even touch. Is that normal?

The clit is a very sensitive part of your body and with some people, it can be sensitive to the point that it hurts. After all, it has a lot of nerve endings attached to it. You don't have -have- to touch it. If it's that sensitive, then really just stimulating somewhere near it should work. If it still hurts when you're stimulating some place near it, I would talk to your primary physician or your OB-GYN if you have one.
