Thawing meat
I saw a post in here about how to safely thaw meat. Everyone mentioned the defrost setting on the microwave or in cold water. I have always used hot water. Put the chicken (or whatever it is) in a baggie and then put that in the sink filled with hot water and it will be thawed in 30-45 minutes. It's how my family always did it growing up 🤷♀️ We have never had any issues.
Can I not do it like this?
**uuuugh! I HAATE thawing it in the fridge. I have tried it several times before. I put it in the fridge before bed to make it the next night, and it was still COMPLETELY frozen. Not even the outside was thawed. I have also tried putting it in there in the morning to make the next night, still frozen. Nope, never doing that again. I will stick to my hot water.
