Temp is off?

Hey girls I’m new to taking my temp and while I’m still on the pill I’m trying to just get in a routine of taking my temp daily. 
I’ve done it 3 days and each day my temp is very off, by like 1 degree? I thought it should only vary slightly? Can anyone shed any light on why this would be?

You can’t accurately look at BBT while on BC because the hormones in your body will affect the results. BC tricks your body into thinking you’ve ovulated already, so charting won’t help until you’re off BC.

Are you making sure to do it at the same time every day right when you wake up and before you do anything else? Like before even getting out of bed or talking or anything?
