I am VERY confused to why i am bleeding after my first time having intercourse (also without protection). i lost my virginity today and right after i had sex, i decided to go to the restroom. once i was finished, i wiped myself with toilet paper, and i noticed there was blood on it. i kept wiping until nothing else came out.

Initially, i thought the bleeding was caused by friction during intercourse because my partner and i barely had any lubrication, but then i looked up possible causes of the bleeding. Turns out STIs can be a reason and i’m a little scared now.

what could possibly be wrong with me?
