Baby shower second thoughts ?

I was so excited to have a shower and celebrate our rainbow baby .. but the more I think about how expensive its going to be  the more I don’t want to have one 🤷‍♀️ my
mom is paying and said it doesn’t matter, but I just feel like its kind of unnecessary now..

My husband and I are in between jobs right now and I'm throwing my own I'm just having it at home, some streamers, balloons, decorations from dollar store and prizes from dollar tree, and finger foods. We threw our first one too, did a coed bbq at our house it doesnt have to be super expensive.

It doesn't have to be expensive. If you have a family member or friend who could host it in their home or if you or someone you know has a church you could have it at would work. You could just have finger foods, get a sheet cake from the grocery store or make one and get cute decorations from the dollar store. It doesn't have to be extravagant to gather people to celebrate your baby and give gifts.
