Why is trying for #3 so hard?

So we have been trying for our 3rd for 14 months. I went to the doctors and they want to do tests. My first 2 kids were conceived very quickly. Is anyone else having this problem? Any pointers or information you could give me?

I got my son the first month ttc and with my daughter, I wasn't trying. But I've been trying for #3 for a couple years now. I'm starting to think I'm just not meant to have anymore. I don't get how the first 2 were so easy but it's been impossible to get my last.

This is my 20th cycle trying to conceive #3! First two were very quick. So same here!

My first two came with no issues. But 3 failed IUI’s later and in the process of IVF now, it’s definitely harder. My doctor did find stage 4 endometriosis and I had to have two surgeries that came about last year. Here’s to hoping IVF works!

Our first 2 were conceived the first month trying but the third we really had to work for! Honestly, I think it was the change in my husbands diet over the years. He cut out alcohol and started eating healthier and then it happened! Good luck!!

First pregnancy was an oops ( miscarriage at 6 weeks) 
Second pregnancy was an oops 
( She's 7 now) 
Third pregnancy tried for 10 months
( Miscarriage at 5 weeks)
Forth pregnancy tried for 4 months
( She's now 1)
Fifth pregnancy tried for 7 months 
( Miscarriage at 5 weeks ) 
We've been trying since 9/18 with one miscarriage on 3/19 so hopefully soon

I self I have been trying to have my 3rd but not happen but my doctor say that I have a mild cyst but I can still get pregnant but trying for a 1year 2 months now she say the cyst will go but still trying

I’m going on my 7th month and finished my 3rd round of clomid. I convinced my two kids very easily and had a miscarriage in between the two. I’m on progesterone for a short luteal phase and that’s helped some but it’s so frustrating and I’ve tried different vitamins, preseed, red raspberry tea, cited, etc. My doctor wants to put me on fermata next. She hasn’t mentioned a specialist but I’m going to see if she can do an hsg test and any other tests that can be done in an ob office before I see a specialist. My husband is doing a sperm analysis next week so we will see. I don’t think he’s the issue. I think I have a hormonal imbalance that we can’t seem to balance out. 
Have you seen a specialist yet or just been working with your ob?

We have been trying for almost 3 years. I had IUI to conceive my first and a miraculous accident for my second. I think my issue is hormone related but not anything that isn’t being corrected. I am turning 40 this year and I think going to give up. With sadness and grief. But I can’t go through this forever.
