I don’t usually post on here, but I had to share. I started my period last night and my cramps are so bad the first couple days I’ll throw up, but usually only at night. My boyfriend gets his license this week, so I have to pick him up and when I did today we stopped at the grocery store and he got me ice cream and chocolate cause I was craving it. We go back to my house to watch some movies on Netflix, but my cramps just keep getting worse. Eventually I have to run to the bathroom and throw up. I asked him to bring me some mints from the kitchen (peppermint helps with nausea), and when he came back he sat down next to me and I had my head on his thigh curled up in the fetal position eating a mint holding his hand while he played with my hair. He kept rubbing my arm and leg and saying “it’s going to be okay. I’m right here, and I’ll stay here as long as you need me”. Well eventually it got like 8:00 and he had to go home, so he carried me to my bed and brought me my blanket and mints and kissed me on the forehead goodnight. My dad drove him home because I was clearly in no condition to do so. (We’re both 16).
