Hi guys I have a question. This is my first pregnancy so new at all this but how come some woman are exact weeks along as me but have a different due date. What does it consist of ?

Are you counting from your last period start date or when you conceived? Counting should start from your last period as the start date.

Well something’s wrong with the calculations then. Or their doctor moved their due date but they didn’t change counting how far along they were. And if they’re talking about months - most people count months wrong so don’t pay attention to that. But weeks should match, so it’s not possible to be the same number of weeks but have a different due date. (Unless they say “I am 16w” but actually they are 16w3d but just round it down)

Based on my period, I'm due 8/1. But based on dating scan, I'm due 7/29. So in the office I go by the first official due date since they imputed information based on my LMP. But the OB said I'm due "around the end of July, it's close enough to not change the date right now." I'm sure 20 weeks from now will be a different story. Lol
