Honestly it depends on your child.  I suggest NOT buying too many diapers before hand.  We got diapers as gifts & my son had a bad reaction to almost every type of diaper we had received.   The best is cloth.  But as far as disposable you won’t know which brand, until you try them out with your child.

I absolutely hate pampers for my lo. She poops thru them all the time. She constantly has blow outs. I love huggies/luvs

I prefer pampers. Remember if you are gifted diapers and your baby doesn’t react well to them you can return to Target for store credit, no receipt necessary.

Thankfully my daughter didn’t have a reaction to any diapers so we just used everything we were gifted. I like pampers swaddles the best and then huggies snugglers. But we’ve also used luvs and haven’t had any issues with them either

Huggies little swaddlers was best for my girl for newborn and size 1s. Pampers swaddlers fit her best for size 2s. It all depends on your baby. She also had a bad reaction to huggies snug and dry. Try some simple packs of a few different brands and see what works for you.
