So my MIL asked me yesterday about my plans for feeding baby... To which I replied I will be breastfeeding exclusively. Then she said yeah but what if someone else wants to feed the baby... Ugh. Then someone else should have their own baby... I have exclusively breastfed all of my kids and don't intend to give that up... Sure maybe after a few months or so I will pump so I can go out for a few hours without baby but for the most part the first year that's my time with baby! I know it's selfish but that why I've done it with my kids not only is it best for them and I can do it but I do it because no one else can! There are plenty of ways for hubby to be able to bond with baby during this time if he chooses he can talk to baby and burp the baby during feedings. I honestly am going to be the one doing it all anyway so why shouldnt I do what is easier and best for baby and me?
