SAHM’s, how much TV time do you allow?

Depends on the day honestly. Most days I try to keep it off and she plays just fine. Some days she’s fussy and momma needs a break to get household chores done. And days like today, she’s sick and very pitiful so I’m just cuddling up with her watching her favorite shows. We take breaks to eat, read books, and walk around outside, but she feels so bad that “super simple songs” on YouTube is the only thing that keeps her calm. Plus I feel like she learns stuff from those videos lol. Anywho, it’s all about BALANCE. I know tv isn’t recommended for them at all at this age, but sometimes we gotta do what we gotta do to keep our sanity 🤷‍♀️

When she’s sick she can’t watch tv and play on her tablet all she wants. But usually she has to ask to play with her tablet and I kinda decide if she can by how much tv she has watched that day and if she’s done any outside physical activity yet. It really depends on the day and the time for us 🤷‍♀️ but 3 paw patrol episodes later I usually turn it off. I personally don’t like background noise while I’m doing things around the house.

I always have mine on just for background noise but she only watches her shows for 30 minutes before bedtime
