I’ve had the cyst since before pregnancy. It was about 6 cm when they found it, my doctor was aware and said I was perfectly safe to get pregnant, just warned me of the risk of rupture/ovarian torsion. She also said if I really wanted it removed, I could have surgery, but since I wasn’t experiencing any discomfort from it that surgery was an aggressive option. 10 months later, at my anatomy scan, it was 7 cm. Yesterday, 6 weeks after the anatomy scan, it’s measuring 8 cm. The ultrasound tech said the measurements could be off due to it being “squished” by my growing uterus. I’m really hoping my midwife calls tomorrow for some kind of update and reassurance. Just stressed and venting, so if you made it this far, thanks.
