Is meeting your bf/gf’s parents important to you?

Idk I just don’t think it’s that important and don’t really care to meet their parents, maybe it’s because when I do date someone they’re probably never gonna meet my parents🤣. So I don’t think meeting parents is too important.

I met my bf dad bc is work we all worked together. He met my family but I haven’t met his family like mom and grandmas. I lowkey don’t wanna met them they are Puerto Ricans and black so females jealous asf I’m scared lol.

It's important if you ever see your relationship going somewhere. They'll be your family too if you get married, and your kid's grandparents if you have a child together. I'm not saying you should change yourself or let their opinions dictate how you act, but it's a lot easier to be apart of someone else's family when you respect them and value them from the getgo.
