Ab workout

Ladies, I’m gonna make this short. I’ve trying to lose some weight and gain muscle, I’ve been working out for 4 days Saturday I took a cheat day. But the two days before that I did leg and butt exercises. I was sore up until today. Now today I did an ab workout, it hurt like a mother trucker the entire time but now that I’m done it doesn’t even feel like I did a workout. Did I not do enough or am I just going to feel it tomorrow?
