My boyfriend told me that he loves me but he’s not in love with me. And I get it, he got out of a 3 year relationship with his ex almost a year ago and they have a 2 year old son together. But he told me he doesn’t have feelings for her anymore it’s just hard for him to be in love given everything she put him through so he’s a little hesitant to completely open himself up to me. And I know it might be stupid but I’m hurt. I’ve given him everything and am always there for him to make him happy and support him and his family. He’s brought me to meet his parents and cousins and basically the entire family and they all liked me and text me and ask when I’m coming over and stuff but something is still holding him back. Should I be worried that he’s not ready to truly be with someone?
