Will iui work again after first iui ended in a miscarriage

Question

I got pregnant on my first iui but ended in a miscarriage at 8 weeks. Does anyone know what my chances will be to get pregnant again with iui after first time success? I have my saline ultrasound Wednesday and when I get my first cycle we’re back to starting treatment again and not sure what to do.

Chances are the same with each iui! As with any pregnancy there is always a 20-25% chance of miscarriage regardless of how you conceive - the iui doesn’t change that. So if you got pregnant once you have good chances of getting pregnant again!! 
The only potential impact would be if you had a d + c post miscarriage it may impact your lining, so you may want to wait until that has healed and replenished. Otherwise you’d be okay to try again the following month.

It worked for me... Had a miscarriage at 10 weeks with one iui, but now I'm 26 weeks pregnant from the following iui cycle. So it definitely can happen!

For me personally, I did. I had a chemical is August and then got pregnant via IUI in October. And I’m almost 20 weeks with twins. So it is possible. Just really depends on your body
