I guess it depends what u mean with financially unstable... my husband and I had our first baby when we were in university, and obviously we didnt have much, but we were always able to provide for our son and ourselves. 
People have different standards of what financially stable is. I know that maybe my situation, to some people, would not be considered financially stable, where as to others (myself included) it would be.

I was 19 on my own, I didn’t plan my daughter. No job, just happened. I made it work or my daughter would have had nothing.

Too young to start a family but my parents did. We’re not very well off financially but we got very lucky as my dad was smart enough to qualify to be a foreign service officer. Now the government pays for our school and house😃😃

My boyfriend and I were living in our own at 17 and had our daughter at 18 right out of high with absolutely no help. We weren’t financially stable at all but made it work.  Now she’s 3, he has a very good job and I’m able to stay home with her.

Me and my boyfriend were financially unstable, I didn’t have a job and he had a shitty one. Our son was unplanned but not a mistake. We eventually moved in with his mom while I was pregnant and I got a decent job and saved until we got our own place when our son was a month old we moved out. My boyfriend now has an amazing job that pays very well, I don’t have to work because of how much money he brings in himself. So I get to be a stay at home mommy❤️ we are very fortunate for his job opportunity with his AMAZING boss, whom we consider family now. Blessed.

We were fairly financially unstable when we found out we were expecting our first. We had jobs and a roof over our heads and bills covered, but neither jobs offered insurance so we were on Medicaid for the pregnancy. We had very little extra but when we got our surprise positive, we knew she was meant to be.
With our second, we were stable financially... Until Midway thru the pregnancy when my husband got laid off. We ended up losing our insurance, becoming briefly homeless, our car got repossessed. And now we have our 2 beautiful girls and though I would NEVER want to repeat that year, I wouldn't change having them for the world.
Now, we are expecting our 3rd child. We make ends meet, have a stable home, own our vehicles. We don't have a lot, not at all, really, but we know this child is meant to be.
We are also very religious, and I do think that our faith plays a bigger role in our lives than some people's.
So, it depends on a lot of factors. Your definition of financially stable, your religious beliefs and feelings, your support system...
So, there's a convoluted non-answer for ya...

Absolutely not. I’m a responsible adult, and would never bring children into the world when I wasn’t prepared to care for them.
