Everyone who I know who has tried this, it worked. They lost the weight... BUT once they started eating normally again (carbs) they put the weight back on.

I did keto last year for the first time really starting in March and by August I had lost 45 pounds. This was without any exercise. My wedding was in September which is why we started the diet in the first place. By the middle of August I was so stressed about the wedding I kind of veered off the keto train but was so stressed I was able to keep all the weight off. Once the wedding was over, we completely fell off the keto train and since then I've gained back half of that weight I lost back and have felt like complete shit, mentally and physically. I started keto again right after I miscarried the first weekend of January and have been going strong ever since. I'm almost down 10 pounds in less than a month but this time I'm exercising. I know keto works, but keto also isnt just a diet it's a lifestyle change. You will gain all the weight right back if you go back to eating all the carbs and starchy crap you ate before keto. Mentally and physically I already feel so much better. I'm hoping to get pregnant again soon and hoping I'm able to stay on keto and it's safe for the baby. I started by getting recipes on pinterest, joining keto FB groups, and by tracking on an app. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy and will come naturally.

Don't do anything dramatic because you won't stick to it. Start counting calories, sugar in your food. Eat less fat food ( some vegetables or fruits can also be very high in calories so just google it for example avocado) you should intake around 1500 calories per day so divide it by how many times you eat during the day and get how much you can eat per one meal ( if you eat 3 times then 1500/3=500 cal per meal) and +-200calories for snacks. IF you eat more than 2000 calories per day start decreasing that number slowly and don't starve yourself because you will probably start binge eating food. DRINK WATER!
