Maternity wedding guest dresses?

Why are maternity clothes so darn ugly?! We have 4 weddings this spring when I’ll be 24 weeks++ and need to get a dress that will work for all of them. But everything is either hideous or super expensive. Anyone have any tips for where to find affordable non ugly clothes? Relatedly, why is everything off the shoulder, who wants to wear a strapless bra with huge pregnant boobs?!

I just ordered this on amazon and I love it!! You can get it in other colors. It’s nice, thick material, fits perfect, has pockets and is nice and stretchy for a growing belly but works postpartum too.

I plan on wearing it to a friends wedding when I’m 28 weeks along.

I got a dress from Seraphine. It was a little more pricey than other options but I wore it a bunch of times and it was good quality.

The only maternity clothes I’ve bought are pants. For dresses just get something stretchy. It can be lose or a bodycon dress just go up a size. That’s what I’ve been doing.

Check rent the runway! They have maternity styles and then you don’t have to actually buy anything you won’t wear again

I just bought a non-maternity empire waist dress. Worked perfectly @ 24 weeks. It’s a hi-lo cut (slightly shorter in front) so the bump making it a bit shorter in front just looked like the style.
