Does anyone understand how this works? Seems off? I’m 22 weeks so it says 6 months but wouldn’t that be 5 months?

At the end of your 4th week, you are one month pregnant. 
At the end of your 8th week, you are two months pregnant. 
At the end of your 13th week, you are three months pregnant. 
At the end of your 17th week, you are four months pregnant. 
At the end of your 21st week, you are five months pregnant. 
At the end of your 26th week, you are six months pregnant. 
At the end of your 30th week, you are seven months pregnant. 
At the end of your 35th week, you are eight months pregnant. 
You are nine months pregnant when you hit your due date. 
Divide your weeks by 4.44. You're 5 months. If you take 40 weeks and divide it by 9 months, you find here are a grand exact amount of 4.44 weeks/month. It's not so complex. People just get thrown by the technicalities. Yes weeks 22-26 is month six. But you don't say you're six months pregnant until you reach the end of those 26 weeks, i.e. As soon as you hit 27 weeks you can now say you're 6 months pregnant. (Well I mean, you can say whatever you want really haha). Start with weeks, from the beginning. You have your date of last period, i.e. Day 1 of pregnancy by the last menstrual period dating method. Day 1, 0 weeks pregnant. Fast forward 4 whole weeks, day 28, you are now 4 weeks pregnant and have probably had your bfp! But you don't say you're 5 weeks pregnant on day 29. You say you're 5 weeks pregnant after 35 days, once you have completed those 5 weeks. I don't get why so many people change the rules when it comes to months! You only hit 9 months pregnant when you hit your due date. So you hopefully won't actually be going around saying you're 9 months pregnant for a whole month! (Unless you fall in the camp who says you're 1 month pregnant on week 1...to each their own lol).

You pregnant for a total of 10 months every 4 weeks is a different month..4 ×10 is 40
