The wait was mentally painful.
The wait to get meds shipped
The wait to see follicles
The wait to trigger
The wait to see how many eggs matured
The wait to see how many made it to blasts
The wait to see how many were pgs normal
The wait to get my period
The wait to get my fet schedule.
You get it. Everything is about waiting in ivf.
But if I had to pick physical pain.... progesterone shots after 2 weeks. Now that can be physical pain.

For me, the emotional roller coaster was the most painful. The pain wasn’t anything compared to my painful periods so for me it was a breeze other than emotionally.

None of the above. I didn’t find it to be painful. It was much easier than I had anticipated and flew by. For me, the hardest part was not being able to exercise and having to be so careful with my body.  The second hardest was the wait to see how many froze. My wait since my transfer has flown by. Currently 6dp3dt.

All of it, but the transfer and the injections I could do (PIO is the only one that really bothers me). Egg retrieval had me MESSED up though.

I didn’t have extreme pain with any of it.  The shots were shots.  I took pain meds for 24 hrs post retrieval and never felt any pain during or after stopping the meds.

The shots and how they made me feel was horrendous. I would never wish the IVF process on anyone. I did it bc I had lymphoma at 25. The cancer treatment was easier than IVF for me.

The bloodwork and IV before retrieval is by far the worst. On my 3rd IVF cycle and the constant bloodwork is what hurts and stresses me out the most
