Guys, I know this group is for our August babes. But I don't like my December group lol. Breastfeeding is not working!!! Gaa! I was going to switch to pumping because little one keeps latching and unlatching and isn't happy until he gets a bottle. 😓 But I feel so guilty because if I pump I am going to have no time for my 18 month old. 😔 Because pumping is a full time job. I feel like such a crap mom. 😭

I’m totally planning to get the Willow hands free pump when we have our next baby for this exact reason. I don’t think I’ll have the time or ability to just sit still with a newborn while they nibble for hours so something will have to change! It’s pricey but if you can swing it financially maybe it would satisfy your desire to give breast milk while also saving your sanity a little? Personally I think it’s worth it.

Don’t feel bad.  Pumping is the worst.  Between the actual pumping time and all the part washing, it does consume so much time.  I’m sure your babes would rather have that time with you. And for what it’s worth, I also like this group better than the December group 😉

Have you tried a nipple shield? My little one latched like a champ at the hospital and as soon as we got home decided not to. I used a shield for a bit then weaned her off it

Keep baby happy! Give a bottle. As long as you think you have the resources to pay for formula, dont feel bad switching. I exclusively pumped for my August babe and honestly it is SO exhausting. I cant imagine doing it with a toddler.

How old is baby? You should contact a professional lactation consultant and have baby checked for ties if there is a latch problem that is usually the reason why.
